About the Role:
We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager (RGN) to join our well-established Nursing Home team in Gateshead. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Home Manager to deliver high-quality care to our elderly residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. You will work alongside a dedicated team of nurses and care staff in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Home Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing home.
• Provide high standards of clinical care to residents, ensuring their needs are met effectively and compassionately.
• Supervise and support a team of nurses and care assistants, ensuring best practice and adherence to NMC guidelines.
• Take responsibility for clinical governance, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Promote a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Work alongside other senior management to drive business performance and deliver excellent outcomes for residents.
• Manage medication, treatments, and ensure care plans are maintained and updated.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN (RGN).
• Proven experience in a nursing home, elderly care, or clinical environment.
• Strong leadership and management skills with a focus on person-centered care.
• A passion for delivering high-quality care and supporting residents' independence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
