Role Overview
As a Nurse Unit Manager for our Nursing Home, you will lead a team of nurses and healthcare assistants to deliver exceptional care, ensuring residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will oversee the unit's daily operations, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support nursing and care staff to maintain high care standards.
• Oversee care planning, assessments, and evaluations for residents.
• Coordinate staffing rotas and ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., CQC).
• Conduct audits, manage inspections, and drive care quality improvements.
• Promote person-centered care, monitor residents' health, and respond promptly to changes.
• Provide training, ensure certifications, and support staff development.
• Maintain a safe environment, manage risks, and oversee budgets and resources efficiently.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Qualifications: RGN/RMN with an active NMC PIN.
• Experience: Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory nursing role, preferably in a nursing home or elderly care setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate and patient-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
• Up-to-date knowledge of clinical standards, regulations, and best practices.
