About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team in Eastbourne, providing high-quality care to our residents. As an RGN, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care, managing medication rounds, and ensuring that residents receive the best care possible. The role involves working closely with the Deputy Manager and other healthcare professionals to support the needs of the residents.
This is a Full-Time Night Shift position, offering paid breaks and a competitive, negotiable salary. We’re looking for someone who can work independently and manage their responsibilities without supervision.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care and support to residents in a nursing home setting.
• Manage medication rounds, ensuring proper administration and documentation.
• Work autonomously during night shifts, taking charge of resident care in the absence of senior staff.
• Collaborate closely with the Deputy Manager to maintain high standards of care.
• Monitor and assess residents' conditions, making sure to follow up with any changes in care plans.
• Support residents in daily activities and ensure their comfort and well-being.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all clinical documentation is up to date.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year experience as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
• Valid NMC Pin (Nursing and Midwifery Council registration).
• Experience in working in a nursing home setting.
• Ability to work independently and take charge during night shifts.
• Proficient in managing medication rounds and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for delivering high-quality care to elderly residents.
