Your Role at AMCE
As a Consultant General Cardiologist, you’ll:

• Deliver expert care for cardiovascular conditions, from diagnostics to advanced interventions.
• Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to develop tailored, patient-focused treatment plans.
• Contribute to research, clinical trials, and the integration of innovative technologies.
• Mentor and guide junior doctors and cardiology trainees to foster excellence.
• Shape the department’s strategic goals and governance practices for long-term success.

What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements:

• Fellowship or equivalent in Cardiology from a recognised institution.
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience at consultant level in a busy cardiology department.
• Demonstrable leadership and team management skills.
• Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (or eligibility).
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.

Desirable Qualities:

• Experience with hospital management or postgraduate qualifications in healthcare leadership.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
