About the Role
As a Medical Physicist, you’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to optimise radiation therapy treatment plans, maintain quality assurance, and uphold the highest safety standards. You’ll have a hands-on role in calibrating equipment, supporting clinical staff, and driving research to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with oncologists to develop precise treatment plans.
• Perform regular calibration and maintenance of radiation therapy equipment.
• Oversee radiation safety protocols to ensure staff and patient safety.
• Lead quality assurance programmes for treatment techniques and equipment.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and students.
• Contribute to research and innovation in radiation therapy techniques.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to deliver comprehensive patient care.

What We’re Looking For:
Essential:

• Master’s degree in Medical Physics or related field.
• Certification by a recognised professional body.
• At least 5 years of experience in radiation oncology within a clinical setting.
• Expertise in treatment planning systems (e.g., Eclipse, Pinnacle).
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and quality assurance protocols.

Desirable:

• Ph D in Medical Physics.
• Experience with emerging technologies in radiation therapy.
