The African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) is looking for a Cyclotron Medical Physicist to lead innovative diagnostic services within our cutting-edge facility in Abuja, Nigeria. Your Role at AMCE
As a Cyclotron Medical Physicist, you will:

• Lead Cyclotron Operations: Ensure safe, efficient operation of cyclotron technology and radionuclide production.
• Champion Radiation Safety: Implement and oversee protocols that protect patients, staff, and the environment.
• Drive Quality Assurance: Develop QA programs to optimise imaging precision and compliance with regulations.
• Foster Innovation: Engage in R&D to refine cyclotron technology and improve diagnostic outcomes.
• Mentor the Next Generation: Train and guide local staff to build sustainable expertise in medical physics.

What We’re Looking For
Essential:

• Master’s or Ph D in Medical Physics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with cyclotron technology and PET imaging.
• Proven knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Desirable:

• Experience in international healthcare settings.
• Involvement in research and advanced imaging techniques.
