Senior Support Worker Role:
Join our dedicated team as a Senior Support Worker, where you'll play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. As a Senior Support Worker, you'll work collaboratively with the care team to meet the daily needs of residents, conduct supervisions and appraisals, contribute to care planning, and coach support workers. With a focus on maintaining the personal care needs of residents and promoting independence, you'll lead by example to ensure the highest standards of care are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the care team to recognize and facilitate the daily needs of residents, ensuring their dignity and independence are respected.
- Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals for support workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Contribute to care planning and implementation, ensuring individualized care plans are developed and followed.
- Coach and mentor support workers, fostering a supportive and inclusive team environment.
- Lead by example to maintain high standards of care, promoting resident well-being and independence.
Reports to: Home Manager/Deputy Manager/Nurse
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a senior care role, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Empathetic and caring nature, with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
- NVQ3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification (or working towards).
- Satisfaction of working with a supportive and caring team dedicated to improving the lives of our residents.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 48 per week
