Starting as a 170-bed specialist hospital, our centre is set to expand to a 500-bed facility, impacting over 350,000 patients across West Africa within five years.

About the Role
As the Patient Experience Manager, you’ll lead efforts to ensure that every patient’s journey with AMCE is compassionate, seamless, and exceptional. Working closely with clinical teams, administrative staff, and patients, you will:

• Champion patient-centred care initiatives.
• Analyse feedback to improve satisfaction.
• Develop innovative strategies that set us apart in the healthcare sector.

This is a leadership role requiring a balance of strategic vision, empathy, and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Training: Inspire staff to prioritise patient satisfaction, providing coaching on empathy and communication.
• Strategic Development: Shape and implement plans to enhance the patient journey, aligned with AMCE’s mission.
• Patient Advocacy: Oversee the feedback process, address complaints, and act as the voice of our patients in management discussions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teams across departments, ensuring patient experience is at the core of all operations.
• Governance: Ensure adherence to safety, privacy, and regulatory standards.

What We’re Looking For
Essential

• Proven leadership experience in healthcare, including managing complex situations and complaints.
• Strong understanding of patient-centred care principles and healthcare regulations.
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with change management and strategic planning.

Desirable

• Advanced degree or certification in healthcare management or project management (e.g., PRINCE2).
• Knowledge of quality improvement frameworks and data visualisation tools.
