We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Analyst to support our production team and drive operational efficiency at our cassava processing facility.
Role Overview
The Operations Analyst will assist with the day-to-day operations within the production facility. This role involves supporting production processes, monitoring equipment, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining inventory levels to help achieve operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Support:
· Assist in daily production tasks and follow established processes.
· Monitor equipment and machinery, reporting any issues to maintenance for prompt action.
· Work closely with the production team to ensure quality standards are met.
2. Quality Assurance:
· Conduct regular checks on product quality and consistency.
· Report any deviations in quality or safety standards to the Management.
· Support the Quality Assurance team in implementing improvement processes.
3. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
· Track raw material and supply inventory levels and notify the supervisor for restocking as needed.
· Assist with proper storage and handling of materials and products.
· Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to ensure timely material delivery.
4. Data Recording and Reporting:
· Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output, downtime, and quality checks.
· Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports on production and inventory levels.
5.Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
· Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in the production area.
· Support efforts to maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally friendly work environment.
· Participate in safety training and report any safety hazards immediately.
6. Process Improvement:
· Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in production processes.
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste
· Stay updated on best practices and industry standards in cassava processing.
Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or A Diploma in Food Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in food processing or agribusiness.
• Living in Delta State. Obior, or close to Agbor and Umunede, in Delta State would be preferable
• Skills

· Basic understanding of production processes and machinery.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
· Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
· Proficiency in data entry and basic software applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel).

Working Conditions:
This role involves working primarily in a processing plant environment, with regular exposure to machinery. Safety protocols must be followed, and protective equipment will be provided. Extended hours may be required during peak production periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦75,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
