Sales Manager (Events) – Hospitality Group (Canggu)

One of Bali’s leading hospitality groups is looking for a vibrant and dynamic Sales Manager in the Events space to join their team.
The ideal candidate is a passionate and energetic professional with extensive experience in planning, organising, and executing high-profile events. They should possess exceptional sales and relationship-building skills to engage clients and deliver tailored event solutions that align with the beach club’s premium brand standards. The candidate must excel in event logistics, coordination, and problem-solving, ensuring every event runs seamlessly and exceeds client expectations.
Requirements :
  • Open for local candidates.
  • Minimum of four years of proven experience in event sales or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets within the events industry.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating a sales team.
  • Proficiency in crafting and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interactions and presentations.
  • Skilled in negotiation, with a proven ability to close high-value deals while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools for tracking leads, managing client relationships, and generating sales reports.
  • Familiarity with sales reporting tools and the ability to analyse sales data to refine strategies.
  • Deep understanding of the event planning and production process to align sales efforts with client needs.
  • Strong network and connections within the events industry are an advantage.
  • Goal-oriented and proactive in identifying and solving problems to ensure client satisfaction and business success.
  • Highly organised with excellent time-management skills to handle multiple clients and events simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset, working effectively with internal teams such as marketing, production, and event planning.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, venue visits, and event execution.
Responsibilities :
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed event revenue targets.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities to enhance revenue streams.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the sales and event process.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the events sector to expand the client base.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and tailor sales approaches to their needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
  • Provide regular feedback and training to enhance team performance and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with event planning and production teams to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
  • Translate client needs into actionable plans for internal teams to deliver high-quality events.
  • Negotiate contracts, sponsorship deals, and partnerships with clients and vendors to maximise profitability.
  • Ensure agreements align with company standards and meet client expectations.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets and budgets, adjusting strategies as needed to meet objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, including revenue forecasts and performance analysis.
  • Manage budgets for events, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high service standards.
  • Track expenses related to sales activities and ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Gather client feedback post-event to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Use insights from client interactions to enhance future sales and event strategies.
