The ideal candidate is a passionate and energetic professional with extensive experience in planning, organising, and executing high-profile events. They should possess exceptional sales and relationship-building skills to engage clients and deliver tailored event solutions that align with the beach club’s premium brand standards. The candidate must excel in event logistics, coordination, and problem-solving, ensuring every event runs seamlessly and exceeds client expectations.
Requirements :
- Open for local candidates.
- Minimum of four years of proven experience in event sales or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets within the events industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating a sales team.
- Proficiency in crafting and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interactions and presentations.
- Skilled in negotiation, with a proven ability to close high-value deals while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM tools for tracking leads, managing client relationships, and generating sales reports.
- Familiarity with sales reporting tools and the ability to analyse sales data to refine strategies.
- Deep understanding of the event planning and production process to align sales efforts with client needs.
- Strong network and connections within the events industry are an advantage.
- Goal-oriented and proactive in identifying and solving problems to ensure client satisfaction and business success.
- Highly organised with excellent time-management skills to handle multiple clients and events simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset, working effectively with internal teams such as marketing, production, and event planning.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, venue visits, and event execution.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed event revenue targets.
- Identify market trends and opportunities to enhance revenue streams.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the sales and event process.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the events sector to expand the client base.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and tailor sales approaches to their needs.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
- Provide regular feedback and training to enhance team performance and effectiveness.
- Work closely with event planning and production teams to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
- Translate client needs into actionable plans for internal teams to deliver high-quality events.
- Negotiate contracts, sponsorship deals, and partnerships with clients and vendors to maximise profitability.
- Ensure agreements align with company standards and meet client expectations.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and budgets, adjusting strategies as needed to meet objectives.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, including revenue forecasts and performance analysis.
- Manage budgets for events, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high service standards.
- Track expenses related to sales activities and ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Gather client feedback post-event to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Use insights from client interactions to enhance future sales and event strategies.
