One of Bali’s leading tourist venues is searching for a Senior Chief Engineering to join their team immediately.
The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance and engineering operations for two diverse hospitality venues, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of all facilities, including food and beverage areas, museum exhibits, light shows, art installations, and the waterpark. The role requires a strategic leader to enhance facility performance, safety, and guest experience.
Requirements :

• Open for local candidates.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Minimum ten years of experience in engineering or facilities management, with at least five years in a senior or director-level role within the hospitality or entertainment industry.
• Proven track record in managing multi-site operations, with experience in food and beverage facilities, museums, art installations, and waterparks.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
• Experience with project management software and facilities management systems.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, manage, and develop a diverse team.
• Extensive knowledge of building systems, mechanical and electrical engineering, plumbing, HVAC, AV and IT systems and safety regulations.
• Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects, with excellent planning, coordination, and execution skills.
• High attention to detail, ensuring meticulous maintenance and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Commitment to implementing innovative solutions and sustainable practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement long-term maintenance and engineering strategies aligned with the venues’ business goals.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of all physical assets and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Lead and manage the engineering team, providing training, development, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of work and safety.
• Develop and manage the engineering budget, ensuring cost control while maintaining high standards of service and maintenance.
• Negotiate contracts and oversee relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure all engineering practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
• Oversee capital improvement projects, renovations, and facility upgrades, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Provide technical expertise and support across all departments, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
• Lead emergency preparedness planning and response, ensuring the safety of guests and staff in case of incidents or natural disasters.
• Implementation of effective energy-saving and sustainability programs, leading to measurable reductions in energy consumption and costs.
