Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

A Permanent Part time position is now available for an Enrolled Nurse to work with the amazing team located at the Cancer Care Day Center, Nepean Hospital.

Working with the Cancer Care team will offer many opportunities and career pathways whilst being supported by an experienced and dedicated team consisting of a Nurse Manager, NUM's, Nurse Practitioners, CNC's, CNE, CNS's and RN's.

This role will see you provide provision of safe patient care, provision of care activities to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse specific to service need.

What you will bring to the role:

Current registration to practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Experience and demonstrated skill in Acute nursing

Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work

Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care

Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal

Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.

Ability to work a flexible roster

Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
