An opportunity for Enrolled Nurse's is now available to work with the amazing team of Orthopaedics, Vascular and Plastic in a Permanent Full time or Part-time role, located at Nepean Hospital.

Your role as the Enrolled Nurse will see you work with the Registered Nurse (RN) as part of the health care team and demonstrates competence in the provision of person-centred care. Core practice generally requires the Enrolled Nurse to work under the direct or indirect supervision of the RN. At all times, the Enrolled Nurse retains responsibility for his/her actions and remains accountable in providing delegated nursing care. This position will have you engage in analytical thinking; use information and/or evidence; and skilfully and empathetically communicate with all involved in the provision of care, including the person receiving care and their family and community, and health professional colleagues.

What you will bring to this role:

Current registration to practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Experience and demonstrated skill in Acute nursing

Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work

Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care

Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal

Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.

Ability to work a flexible roster

Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
