Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. Easily accessible to Sydney residents, our team of clinicians, allied health, and support staff works with the community on a shared goal to maintain the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the Blue Mountains region.

An opportunity has become available for qualified Enrolled Nurses to join the Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital team.

Your role as the Enrolled Nurse will provide safe patient care as directed by the registered Nurse/Midwife according to the nursing care plan and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Midwife within the scope of practice of the Enrolled Nurse.

This imperative role will see you communicate effectively within the team, to patients & families and contribute to and maintain accurate health information and documentation.

What you will bring to the role:

Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA)

Recent Acute Care Nursing experience

Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work

Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care

Demonstrated effective communication skills-written & verbal

Experience working in a multidisciplinary team

Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit/service requirements

Must be able to work a minimum of 2 to 3 shifts per fortnight

Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
