Spire Cheshire Hospital, Warrington is currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join their Physio team on an bank/occasional basis.

Contract type: Bank/Zero hours
As Administrator, you will ensure the provision and maintenance of an efficient patient administration service within the hospital's Physiotherapy department.
You will also provide information to patients, consultants and other relevant departments in a timely and courteous manner.
Duties and responsibilities, not limited to:

• Provide and maintain an efficient bookings system for all patients using a computerised system (SAP)
• Ensure an exemplary level of customer services is upheld in the provision of service to patients, consultants, and the hospital team
• Support and compliance of standardised department process and procedures
• Ensure all charging is done in a timely manner, taking payments for self-pay patients, capturing credit card details for all patients
• Develop and maintain an up-to-date and accurate knowledge of Spire and other insurers’ products, policies, and initiatives
• Respond to enquiries from patients, members of the public and consultants in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner either by face-to-face, emails, telephone, or letter. Ensure an accurate record of the communication is held
• Maintain departmental electronic and manual filing systems accurately, preparing the physiotherapists clinics in advance
• Process patient referrals and make appointments in a timely basis
• Provide and receive patient information, ensuring that all patient information is provided, received, and recorded in accordance with the Data Protection Act and Spire policies.

• Good standard of secondary education with demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally
• Strong focus on delivering and meeting customer expectations
• IT literate and a competent user of the MS Office suite of products
