Spire Parkway Hospital, Solihull has an exciting opportunity for a Bus driver to join our team on a bank contract and transport clinical and non-clinical Spire staff between the car park and hospital.

Job Purpose
To provide the highest standards of personal service to patients and staff in all departments and to provide a highly efficient and courteous portering and distribution service throughout the hospital.


Duties and Responsibilities
Transporting members of staff between hospital site and the car park.

• Working to a timed bus schedule for each pick up point.
• Keeping accurate records of journeys.
• To take ensure that your allocated vehicle is maintained throughout shift and left in a clean and tidy state at the end of shift
• Work in line with all Policies and Procedures at all times.
• To wear correct issued uniform at all times.
• To ensure that all emergency exits are kept free from obstructions and that external doors are secured as required.
• To report via the Manager any defects such as lights and vehicle not working etc.
To attend all mandatory training and any other training as designated by line manager.

Who we're looking for

• Must have a Full Driver’s licence with no more than 3 point on your license
• The post holder is expected to be punctual and also flexible regarding shift times in order to accommodate the service.
• Communication skills
• Someone who is highly organised and accurate and works well with schedule
