Shift: Full-time, Mixed (Rotating Weekends)
Salary Range: $32.62 - $40.77 (3+ years of experience) | Up to $48.93 (10+ years of experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

A healthcare facility in Panama City, FL is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to lead and mentor the clinical laboratory team. This role requires an experienced Medical Technologist who can ensure accurate and efficient testing to aid in patient diagnoses and treatments, in line with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA '88) standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee complex clinical testing, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control practices.
• Lead and mentor laboratory staff, ensuring high standards of care and service.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and manage departmental policies.
• Maintain proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems and reporting protocols.
• Handle orientation and training of new team members and participate in cross-departmental activities.
• Manage departmental operations with accountability for patient safety, cost control, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of acute care experience as a Medical Technologist (MT) required.
• Florida Licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
