Job Description: Construction Supervisor - Onsite (Panama City Beach, Florida)
Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team onsite in Panama City , Florida. As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring the highest quality of work, adherence to safety protocols, and timely project completion. Your leadership and technical expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight: Supervise and manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, budget management, and material procurement.
Ensure that projects are executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and industry standards.
Team Leadership:Lead and direct a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and vendors on the job site.
Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a productive and cohesive work environment.
Safety and Compliance:Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, protocols, and best practices on the construction site.
Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Quality Assurance:Monitor and inspect ongoing work to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
Address any deviations or deficiencies promptly to maintain project integrity.
Communication:Maintain effective communication with project managers, clients, and stakeholders regarding project progress, changes, and any potential issues.
Document daily activities, work progress, and any incidents for reporting purposes.
Problem Solving:Identify and resolve construction-related challenges, making decisions that maintain project timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with project management to find innovative solutions to unexpected issues.
Resource Management:Coordinate and manage the allocation of labor, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient project execution.
Monitor inventory and reorder supplies as needed.
Documentation:Keep accurate records of project activities, including work logs, daily reports, and any changes to plans or specifications.
Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role, with at least 10 years in construction project management.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in the construction industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and construction management software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• The position requires the ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate uneven terrain for extended periods.
• Lift and carry heavy materials and equipment when necessary.
