Salary Range: $90,000 - $106,000 based on experience
Overview:
Are you an experienced RN leader looking to advance your career? We are seeking a Manager of Med-Surg RN for a well-established acute care facility in Panama City, FL. This role provides leadership and direction for a 42-bed Med-Surg unit, with opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of a Med-Surg unit with 57 FTEs, including RNs, LPNs, and Patient Care Techs.
• Provide leadership in planning, managing, and evaluating patient care while ensuring quality and patient safety.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives and resource utilization.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for staff and patients.
• Manage staffing, hiring, and performance evaluations.
• Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of recent acute care RN leadership experience required (Supervisor/Manager level).
• Associate's in Nursing or BSN required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or instructor certification (within 30 days of start date).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Must have recent acute care experience (will not consider travel charge nurse experience).
