Production Assistant

We are a growing natural skin care company in Lagos Nigeria. We currently make all of our products (soap, skin care, and hair care products) at our facilities. We are proud to create luxurious, beautiful products with extraordinary, consciously-sourced ingredients.
We are looking for a Production Assistant to join our team. We need someone dependable, efficient, and neat. Proximity to Ikeja is a must please.
Duties include:

Preparing production and packaging areas for production (training will be provided)
Preparing ingredients and packaging materials for production
Measuring raw materials correctly using scales and volume measuring methods
Packaging/wrapping/labelling finished products
Cleaning up after production, including tools and surface/floor cleaning
Labelling products, ingredients, and other materials precisely
Assisting with store chores as assigned by Production Supervisor

Experience in a manufacturing facility or a diploma/degree in a science course like Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Technology or related courses is a plus.
Note regarding physical demands:
To perform the essential functions of this job successfully, team members are regularly required to stand, reach, sit, or crouch as required and lift or move up to 25kg alone or with another team member as we measure and mix ingredients for production.
Safety gear will be provided and must be worn during any production activities and ventilation must be on.
Employees are required to follow safety measures while performing daily work and learn new safety procedures as our equipment and work space evolve.
Schedule is generally Monday-Friday, 8.30am till 5.30pm.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦60,000.00 - ₦70,000.00 per month
