Your Role
As the Business Manager of Diagnostic Services, you will lead the strategic growth and operational excellence of our diagnostic services, ensuring they set a benchmark for quality and innovation in healthcare. Reporting to the Clinical Director of Diagnostic Services and the Chief Operating Officer, your role will be pivotal in enhancing service delivery, managing resources, and fostering stakeholder relationships.
You’ll drive excellence in patient outcomes, business development, and team leadership, making a lasting impact on healthcare delivery in the region.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute strategies to grow diagnostic services and improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor healthcare market trends and identify growth opportunities.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
• Implement best practices in resource management and service delivery.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of healthcare professionals.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Financial Oversight

• Manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial sustainability.
• Monitor and report on financial performance, addressing any challenges proactively.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build relationships with healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organisations.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure seamless patient care pathways.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and implement quality assurance programmes.
• Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.

What You Bring
Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
• Desirable: Master’s degree in a relevant discipline or professional certification in healthcare management.

Experience

• Proven leadership in healthcare, specifically within diagnostic services.
• A minimum of 5 years in healthcare management with a track record of operational and business success.

Skills

• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and regulatory standards.
