With this, we are recruiting for the role of Office Accountant within a busy office. Office hours are negiotable

The Role:
As the Office Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day finance functions of our cabin hire & sales business. This role will own the financial function of the business ( end to end), supporting the management & operations team, with financial information. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in finance who thrives in a small / medium business within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the finance function (end to end)
- Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Invoicing, Banking, Reconciliations and Debtor collection.
- Process staff payroll for 20 staff
- File Vat returns, liaise with our accounting firm in terms of deadlines, and monthly reporting
- Produce management accounts, & financial information to support business decision making
- Role will report to Managing Director.
- Office hours negiotable
- Adhoc duties as required
- Proven experience in financial systems such as Sage 50.
- Batchelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline
- Professional Accounting Qualification - (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), will consider partially qualified candidates with relevant experience
- 5+ years with relevant industry experience ( Construction / Hire industry preferable)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
Pay: €55,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Oristown, CO. Meath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
