With this, we are recruiting for the role of Team Leader - Operations. This role will report into Workshop Manager.

The Role:
This role is to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the production team, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency. The role requires leadership, coordination, and problem-solving to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to company standards. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner, in the safest and most economical manner. This role reports to Workshop Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Production Oversight:

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure schedules and targets are achieved, reporting to workshop manager.
• Monitor the workflow and allocate resources efficiently. - Manage the workflows between sheds ensuring the appropriate level of cabins are within each area ensure continued workflow. (Wash, Spray, Workshop, Label, Check, Dispatch)

Team Management:

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production operators, general operatives and trades.
• Supervise a team of workers, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and high morale.

Quality Control:

• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any issues.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any issues promptly.
• Ensure that work meets quality standards and complies with relevant regulations and codes.

Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and report incidents or risks.
• Provide support to Workshop Foreman in conducting safety meetings and training to ensure a culture of safety among the team.
• Support workshop foreman in completing risk assessments with new employees
• adhoc duties as required

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Team Leader in Construction, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in construction management or a related field.
• At least 3 -5 years experience in managing a team of operatives /production/ construction workers ideally 10 or more
• Knowledgeable in production / snagging processes
• Accomplished in production /construction planning to support workshop manager
• Quality assurance and people management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
