Corvinus University of Budapest has over a 100-year-old history and is one of the leading universities in Hungary in Business and Management, Economics, and Social Sciences.
We have around 11,500 students, of which, approximately 2,000 are international.

We are looking for a Head of Strategy and Quality Development for a full-time position (40 hours/week) to join the Corvinus University of Budapest.

About the role

• The Head of Strategy is responsible for the preparation and presentation of the Institutional Development Plan and for monitoring its implementation, as well as the coordination of the sectoral plans with the overall strategy

Providing technical, strategic, coordination and communication support to senior management
Ensuring professional and strategic alignment of initiatives related to the renewal of the University
Operating a strategic management framework
Supporting change management with organisational development suggestions
Providing technical and coordination support to strategically significant university initiatives through internal consultancy
Promote compliance with international quality development standards in higher education
Assessing and monitoring international quality standards, assessing compliance, making recommendations for quality improvement
Strategic coordination of relevant international accreditation activity
Monitoring trends and quality expectations in the international higher education sector.

Elvárások

About you

• Master’s degree (economics, law or social sciences)

Minimum 10 years of professional experience out of which minimum 3 years in management position
3-5 years’ experience in preparing expert analyses and proposals in support of decision making
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
Project management experience and project approach
Strategic and systems thinking
Ability to put conceptual programmes into practice
Awareness of the local and international academic world
Strong stakeholder management skills

Advantageous:

International work experience and relevant academic network
Experience gained in higher education or in large organisations
