As Head of Material Planning, you will be responsible for the inventory management of raw materials, auxiliary materials, and packaging materials required for production in accordance with group policies and site objectives. In addition, for the creation and modification of packaging materials, from the moment the need arises, ensures the connection points with the markets and monitors the process until the materials are put into use.

Main responsibilities:

• Participate in the creation of annual material supply plans, ensuring alignment with long, medium, and short-term objectives.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials, auxiliary, and packaging materials required for production.
• Plan and monitor inventory levels, perform demand calculations, and track stock continuously.
• Run MRP and manage material requirements based on procurement framework agreements.
• Collaborate on complaint handling with relevant professional areas.
• Supervise and track the process of creating and modifying packaging materials, maintaining proper documentation.
• Maintain communication with packaging suppliers, participating in negotiations as needed.
• Ensure continuous supply of production materials according to the production plan and support team members in their professional development.

About you

Experience:

• Experience in logistics gained at industrial manufacturing site.

Hard and soft skills:

• Solid understanding of logistics processes, company economics, and management practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in driving operational efficiency and business success.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage long-term projects and drive effective decision-making processes.
• Analytical mindset and creativity, combined with excellent communication and negotiation skills to address challenges and find innovative solutions.
• Flexible and adaptable, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to manage and guide teams towards achieving business objectives.
• Strong managerial knowledge and decision-making capabilities, ensuring strategic thinking and successful team leadership.
• Advanced user level of IT proficiency (SAP SD, MM, PP).

Education:

• High level, university or college degree

Language:

• Proficiency in English at a communication level, including both written and verbal communication skills.
• Hungarian is a must
