Infrastructure and Network Engineer

This role is part of a team primarily responsible for the technical delivery and management of Infrastructure Projects and will be supporting a wide variety of cloud-based and on-premise solutions. Exposure to infrastructure technologies will be required as part of the role in meeting our internal requirements.
The role will work closely with the Service and Support teams to maintain these BAU operational environments and to enhance them through continuous improvement and project initiatives.
In addition to extensive technical capabilities, effective communication both written and verbal is a must. We’re open to applications from a variety of backgrounds.
Responsibilities:

Helping with the implementation and migration of Infrastructure Projects as defined by the business
Managing incidents and resolutions relating to the infrastructure Projects as well as BAU Operational Systems
Identifying, actioning and managing key improvements to security processes and threat response strategies
Assist with the development and improvement of documentation, processes and procedures
Excellent soft skills (verbal and written)
Occasional travel with overnight stays within Australia

Microsoft Server OS deployment, management
Active Directory Management, GPO
Microsoft Networking DFS, DNS, DHCP
Networking foundation knowledge (Routers, Switches, Wi-Fi, TCP Stack)
Remote Monitoring and Management software
OS Patch Management (Servers and Desktops)
Helpdesk Management software
ITIL Foundation knowledge
Power Shell
Phone System management
Virtualisation Technologies
Backup and Recovery Management
High level of troubleshooting Skills and Incident Management
Firewall administration
Wintel Server Installation, configuration, management
Antivirus management
Cybersecurity foundation knowledge
