About the Role:
A reputable construction and renovation company based in Sutton is looking for a skilled and experienced Tiler to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing tiles to a high standard in both residential and commercial properties, ensuring quality and precision throughout all work undertaken.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for tiling, including cleaning, smoothing, and priming.
• Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas, ensuring accurate alignment and cutting.
• Install ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces.
• Apply grout and sealant to tiles, ensuring a neat and professional finish.
• Work with different tile types and layouts, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety practices.
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly attitude when working in client homes or businesses.
• Assist with the ordering and delivery of materials as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Tiler or in a similar tiling role.
• Proven experience in tiling all types of surfaces, including floors and walls, in both residential and commercial properties.
• Strong knowledge of tiling materials, grout, sealants, and adhesives.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in tiling work.
• Strong understanding of health and safety standards in construction.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Full UK driving license (preferred but not essential).

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with underfloor heating installations.
• CSCS card holder.
• Knowledge of modern tiling techniques and trends.
