About the Role:
A well-established construction company in Surbiton is seeking an experienced Plasterer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality plastering services across a variety of residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in residential and commercial properties.
• Prepare surfaces for plastering, including cleaning, patching, and applying bonding agents.
• Smooth and finish plaster to a high standard, ensuring even coverage and a professional finish.
• Install plasterboard and other materials, ensuring accurate alignment and secure fixing.
• Carry out repairs to damaged plasterwork and ensure surfaces are left in perfect condition.
• Work to specifications and drawings, ensuring work is completed on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety while on site.
• Communicate effectively with other team members, subcontractors, and clients.
• Keep work areas tidy and organised, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficient in all aspects of plastering, including skimming, dry lining, and rendering.
• Strong knowledge of plastering materials, techniques, and safety standards.
• Ability to work from blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of finish.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Full UK driving license and own transport (preferred but not essential).
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with both internal and external plastering.
• CSCS card holder.
• Knowledge of modern plastering techniques and sustainable practices.
