Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in care management for children's services, within a care home setting. This role requires a compassionate leader who can ensure the highest standards of care for our residents, who need a loving and stable home. The Registered Manager will be responsible for ensuring day to day running of the care home is compliant with Ofsted and offers a loving and stable home to children and young people who have not had the best start in life. This setting is quite small with a max capacity of two beds, so there is significant and unique opportunity to grow with the company, which can be discussed in more detail during recruitment process.
Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to the needs of each resident.
• Manage medication administration processes, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
• Lead and support a team of care staff, fostering a culture of compassion and excellence in service delivery.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records related to resident care, staff performance, and operational procedures.
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for residents.
• Promote a safe and welcoming environment for both residents and staff.

Requirements

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care for Children & Young People
• Proven experience in senior care settings within a care home.
• Strong knowledge of care practices
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding.
• Ability to develop comprehensive care plans that meet individual resident needs.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and compliance matters.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to £55,000.00 per year
