Multi-Drop Delivery Driver & Warehouse Assistant
Shield Foods (UK) Ltd, a rapidly growing Gourmet Seafood Supplier to London's top restaurants, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Transport and Warehouse team. In this dual role, you will primarily focus on multi-drop deliveries while supporting essential warehouse operations when needed. Key Responsibilities (Driving Focus):

• Safely load, unload, and inspect products for delivery.
• Follow optimal delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries to multiple clients across London and neighboring areas.
• Maintain a friendly, accurate, and proactive approach during deliveries.
• Ensure proper completion of invoices and adherence to cash-on-delivery procedures.
• Uphold BRC (food safety) standards throughout the delivery process.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, avoiding PCNs.

Key Responsibilities (Warehouse Support):

• Prepare wholesale pallets for dispatch via 3rd party transport or company vans.
• Receive goods and accurately book them into the system.
• Perform daily stock takes based on provided product lists.
• Handle return items by weighing, counting, and restocking into the freezer/chiller.
• Maintain warehouse areas to BRC standards, ensuring cleanliness and prompt disposal of waste.
• Occasionally assist with defrosting fish in compliance with hygiene standards.

Working Hours:
Our operation runs on a shift system basis. Variation of days and hours is determined by the needs of the business. We are looking for candidates to commit to a 42-hour workweek, with shifts scheduled between Monday and Saturday. Shifts will take place between 3:00 AM and 4:00 PM. You may be scheduled to work either a 5-day or 6-day week, which can vary from week to week. Notice will be provided for schedule changes.
Essential Requirements:

• Valid UK driving licence (clean driving record preferred).
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
• Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading of goods.
• Flexibility to assist with warehouse operations when required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Availability to work every other Saturday as per the provided rota.

Remuneration:
We offer a remuneration of £12 p/h + performance bonus.
