Screening Consultancy and Supplies Ltd (SCS) is a family owned company which has been in operation for 30 years. We design, manufacture, supply and install in the quarry, recycling and mining sectors. Our products are manufactured predominately from rubber and polyurethane.

General Operative – Site and Factory Based Work
This role involves working predominantly in our factory (indoors) and on our customer sites (outdoors) dependant on the company's requirements. Therefore, we require flexible individuals.
The work entails installation, maintenance or manufacture of our products. The role is very physically demanding.
Candidates must have good skills with regard to the use of powered and non-powered hand tools, ability to read basic technical drawing is necessary. Basic levels of numeracy and literacy are required.
Individuals must be happy working outdoors, at height or in confined spaces.
On the job training will be provided. Additional external training required will be provided by the company (MPQC Quarry Passport, Confined Spaces, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, Forklift License, etc).
Contract is 40 hours per week minimum, working five or six days between Monday to Saturday but also including some Sundays with prior agreement. Additional hours will be required and paid at time. Staying away will also be required at certain points.
Full clean UK driving license is essential, experience driving vans would also be preferable. Also forklift driving license would be advantageous.
Starting wage is £12.00 for factory work and £14.00 for site work, after successful probationary period these rates will be reviewed.
