HR Business Partner

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in aligning and implementing global HR strategies with business objectives and values, supporting the achievement of organisational goals. Partnering closely with leaders, managers and our people alike, the HR Business Partner provides comprehensive HR support and strategic guidance to all departments and regions within CIPS, while empowering our people to reach their full potential and drive success in a dynamic and high performing environment.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be a Co-Chair of the People Forum, which is a group represented by colleagues across the business aimed at building an inclusive ‘One CIPS’ workplace culture where all employees feel they belong. Within this forum, the HR Business Partner will also be leading in ED&I initiatives and be responsible for managing and analysing staff surveys.
- Implement HR strategies aligned with global business goals and objectives; fully integrating and partnering with management teams to understand their priorities, while providing strategic guidance and support in a consultative manner.
- Support the People and Culture Director to plan the HR budget at the start of the financial year and being aware of budgetary constraints to inform decision making.
- Identify and analyse internal and external trends from HR metrics; making recommendations to management teams and the People and Culture Director, to help inform decision making.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters including employee relations, performance management, talent development and acquisition, and organisational design.
- Drive employee engagement and retention efforts through the development and implementation strategic initiatives that promote a positive work environment and foster a culture of inclusion and belonging.
- Support the People and Culture Director to develop a competitive total reward compensation and benefits strategy by collecting and analysing research, completing cost analysis, meeting with prospective suppliers to evaluative its fit for the CIPS workforce, and oversee the implementation of related policies and processes by the HR Officer.
- Developing and implementing learning opportunities through CIPS learning platform and mentoring programmes. Analysing current staff career aspirations through the system, to help in the design of future training programmes; supporting career pathway plans for our people.

- Leading on strategic HR projects and initiatives in multiple areas of HR such as organisational design, workforce planning, enhancing HR processes, systems, and practices to better meet the needs of the organisation.
- Demonstrate a process improvement mind-set to increase effectiveness, compliance and efficiency of the HR services offered; staying abreast of global HR best practices, emerging industry trends, and global legislative changes, and proactively recommend and implement changes as needed.
- Coach, mentor and support the wider HR team to ensure a smooth HR employee lifecycle.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
