Heur
Ecommerce Trading Manager
York
FULL TIME & CONTRACT
December 3, 2024
Role Overview
Got some solid ecommerce experience? Want to progress your learning and career at the pace you choose? Heur might be the right place for you.
We’re a multi-award winning ecommerce growth agency focused on growing ambitious brands in a holistic way.
Big brand names are knocking on our door, and we need people with the talent to add to our team and help them realise their aspirations.
In our heads we picture an ecommerce manager who already has some experience (likely D2C client side) who wants to make the jump into agency life.
But with that said, we know the right experience isn’t as simple as time served.
So if you’ve been doing great things in not a lot of time we want to hear from you too.
We’re a remote agency, so you’ll be working from wherever you want most of the time.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be part of our managed ecommerce team, helping multiple clients plan, operate and ultimately grow their ecommerce offering. That will involve:
- Carrying out general merchandising, updates and non-code maintenance of client sites (primarily Shopify)
- Creating and implementing trading plans to help reach revenue and ROAS goals
- Contributing to overall ecommerce strategy, making sure we’re focusing effort and resources where it will do the most good
- Building great relationships with clients and other key contacts
- Applying the full marketing mix to achieve business growth, not just acquisition channels
- Helping to skill up more junior members of the team where appropriate
About You:
As an Ecommerce & Trading Manager you will be expected to demonstrate a range of skills and experience. Ultimately you will be responsible for the guidance and development of clients’ ecommerce and trading environments and working closely with both Heur and client stakeholders, so it is essential you are a great communicator, able to communicate clearly and concisely and develop rapport. Being organised, methodical with planning and actioning repeat tasks, and having great attention to detail is critical to this role.
You must have a proven track record in operating and growing ecommerce revenue for pure play direct to consumer brands, or the ecommerce function within larger brands with multiple sales channels.
- 2+ years experience in an ecommerce trading function
- Understanding and knowledge of ecommerce and marketing services and the client dynamic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Project management skills
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Comfortable gathering, investigating, and summarising market data and trends to build reports
- Excited to stay current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks
- Strong analytical, organisational, and creative thinking skills
- The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures
- The ability to work under pressure
- A related degree or qualification would be really good but not a dealbreaker
- A confident but ego-free, hands-on self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high growth environment
- Results driven and able to understand and present applicable KPI’s
- A good understanding of commercials, budgeting and forecasting or the aptitude to develop this understanding
- Proactive attitude
- Motivated to learn and develop your career
Pay: £28,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
- Yearly bonus
- Additional leave
- Company events
- Company pension
- Employee stock ownership plan
- Flexitime
- Free or subsidised travel
- Work from home
- Monday to Friday
- Trading ecommerce stores on shopify: 2 years (required)
- Visual merchandising: 1 year (required)
- United Kingdom (required)
- York YO1 (required)
Application deadline: 20/12/2024
