• Be the key point of contact for a portfolio of clients and own all client requests and project briefs.
• Having utilised the wealth of data that we have available and combining that with a knowledge of the GB grocery market and your clients, a key part of the role will be building presentations that provide a clear and concise story with recommendations to your client.
• Excellent insight provision is central to the role and the successful candidate will act as an extension to their clients’ business with many different touch points from category to marketing; informing category visions, listing arguments, new product development as well as marketing strategies.

• Expand and develop existing client networks through building of great relationships with key client contacts.
• Use these relationships and touchpoints to understand your clients’ challenges and wider goals, and partner with them to provide answers to their key business questions; ultimately adding value to their business.

• Work with the Account Director to create and drive forward account plans for your portfolio of clients.
• Spot further opportunities for us to add value to our clients business and increase our exposure and presence with our clients.
• Ensure that your clients are maximising the insight capabilities from their contract and that Kantar are a valuable partner to their business; with responsibility for ensuring clients renew their contracts.

• Work closely with the more junior members of your team to coach them in their development, acting as a role model and feeding back when appropriate.

• History of working within either the FMCG grocery industry or in the market research industry.
• Confidence in extracting and interpreting analysis and inspiring clients through your insights.
• Experience of either account management roles or senior stakeholder management.
• Highly professional demeanour with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to develop your contact base and build positive relationships with your client contacts.
• Experience in hitting growth targets.
• Genuine passion and curiosity about Grocery and how people shop the way they do.
• The ability to closely manage your own workload and balance shifting priorities.
• Strong verbal and visual presentation skills with the ability to put together insightful and impactful presentations, as well as a high standard of written communication.
