What you’ll do:

Around 50 million people across the globe have conditions that leave them unable to express themselves. Most aren’t aware that communication technology like ours exists. Closing that gap requires us to perform at our best every day. Our Corporate Services Department, which consists of our Finance, IT, Legal and HR Teams, brings order and energy to the network of systems and people that make our mission possible.

What will your impact look like?
Overall Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Collaborate with senior management and department leaders to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support organizational objectives.
  • Workforce Planning & Retention: Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to identify staffing needs. Develop retention strategies to retain top talent.
  • Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, and performance reviews. Provide training and support to managers on best practices.
  • Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to promote employee engagement, including employee surveys, recognition programs, and cultural events. Analyse survey data and develop action plans to address areas for improvement.
  • HR Policy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with legal requirements and company values.
  • Change Management: Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned, such as diversity and inclusion programs, wellness initiatives, or organizational restructuring efforts. Provide guidance on communication strategies, and employee engagement tactics. Utilize HR data and metrics to drive decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs.

Specific Responsibilities – M&A:
  • M&A Activities: Build a sustainable M&A best practice and way of working from an HR perspective, aligned with stakeholders, business needs and business objectives. Perform due diligence activities. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support the successful integration of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Organizational Design & Culture: Support the design and implementation of new organizational structures that align with strategic goals. Facilitate the integration of organizational cultures, addressing cultural differences, leveraging strengths and promoting a unified and cohesive work environment.
  • Post-Merger Integration: Support ongoing post-merger integration efforts, developing and implementing communication plans, training programs, and engagement activities. Harmonize HR policies and practices for consistency and compliance. Develop and implement new policies as needed.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees during the M&A process, addressing concerns and providing guidance.

Please Note: This is a hybrid role (2-3 days in our Stockholm office). This role also includes occasional (10%) international travel for in-person workshops and trainings, which would be communicated weeks in advance.

What qualifications will help you thrive?
  • Previous experience in global HR roles, partnering multiple (+3) countries.
  • Foundational understanding of employment laws.
  • Experience in driving global projects and mergers & acquisitions.
  • Negotiation skills and point-of-contact experience in employee relations.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English in professional setting.
