Your Role
As a Business Solution Manager (BSM) for Information Management at Saab, you are responsible for lifecycle management of business solutions relating to Information Management, ensuring they are useful and usable today and tomorrow.
This role is placed within Group Quality, Information Management and will manage central IT solutions related to information management and document handling. The Information Management area is expanding and additional solutions may be acquired or developed as part of the transformation of this area in connection to the development of Saab Corporate Information Landscape.
Primary the responsibility of the role is:

• Secure manning of the roles at the operational level in consultation with the concerned resource owners.
• Create a maintenance plan together with IT Service Manager.
• Document the existing maintenance activities and create reporting procedures.
• Report deviations from the maintenance plan to the Steering Committee.
• Prioritize and decide upon activities within the limits of the maintenance plan and place formal orders to IT Service Manager.
• Present issues that are not stated in the approved maintenance plan to the Steering Committee i.e., issues outside of the maintenance plan.
• Coordinate and administrate simultaneously ongoing activities within the maintenance object and start new activities when needed.
• Chair the Maintenance Management Group Meetings.
• Survey the market from a business perspective.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the maintenance

This position is primarily located in Stockholm or Linköping, though other locations can be discussed. We encourage candidates to clearly specify the location they prefer to work from.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
Your profile
To thrive in the role of Business Solution Manager, you should take a keen interest in finding the right solution for the business and to continually improve solutions in place. You should have organizational and financial forecasting skills to develop plans in line with Saab's lifecycle management processes. You have an ability and an interest in following market trends and understanding business needs.
We believe that you have a strong technical understanding, supported by a higher education degree or equivalent knowledge and experience. A good understanding of information management solutions, along with practical experience in implementing and optimizing them, will be the key to your success in this role. Experience with platforms such as Open Text, Service Now, and Microsoft 365 is a useful qualification.
Furthermore, you are independent, driven, and pragmatic. You take responsibility, work in a solution-oriented, persistent, structured, and methodical way. We place great emphasis on your communication skills and your ability to collaborate with others in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
