• You will carry out a comprehensive and complete asset inventory. You will support this by ensuring updated data documentation (asset management) of where an asset is in use and with whom
• You will contribute to the optimization of the tracking process – e.g. how purchased assets receive an inventory label and that the data is made available to colleagues in Finance via an internal MHP platform
• You will be responsible for inventory activities – tracking the IT assets and monitoring the returns
• You will coordinate the disposal process by handling the old appliances – either return to the leasing partner or coordinate professional scrapping/disposal or reselling;
• You will generate status & KPI reports for the different categories
• You will carefully document and update all necessary documentation implied in the end-to-end process

• You already have experience in IT asset management ( 2-3 years), preferably with tools such as Service Now or similar IT-Asset Management systems and Hardware lifecycle
• Good level of German and English
• A minimum knowledge of IT hardware and infrastructure – familiarity with common IT hardware such as laptops, desktops/smartphones
• You worked with reporting methods and data analysis with tools such as Excel, Power BI or similar
• You have the ability to optimize and document processes, e.g. analyze data on the traceability of devices and identify improvements in the returns process
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Independent and structured way of working
• A certain resilience and tenacity/perseverance

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of IT security – understanding the security requirements for the return and disposal of IT equipment, particularly regarding data protection and secure data erasure
• Experience with IT service management (ITSM): Understanding of ITSM processes, particularly in the area of hardware service and support
