Position Overview:
Role: Tank/Welding Inspector
Experience:
12+ years in inspection for Oil & Gas projects
5+ years in onshore Gas Facilities (preferably LNG)
Education:
Mechanical Engineering Diploma OR Recognized Trade Certificates
Certifications:
Welding Inspection: CSWIP, AWS CWI, or equivalent
Tank Inspection: API 653
NDT Level II: UT, MT, PT, RT
✅ Key Responsibilities:
Lead QA/QC activities, ensuring compliance with QCP, ITPs, and contract procedures.
Prepare and inspect reports, quality records, and related documentation.
Verify calibration and certify materials, dimensions, and alignments as per specifications.
Oversee welding inspections and release joints in line with industry standards.
Conduct in-process surveillance of piping, cleanliness, flange inspections, etc.
Perform welding inspections and ensure punch list closeout.
Required Expertise:
3+ years as Tank Inspector (API 653), including tank bottom replacement.
Proficiency in procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning within Oil & Gas projects.
