Industrial Telecom Engineer (Oil and Gas)

Department: Technical Services – Upstream
Location: Ras Laffan
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Oversee Industrial Telecom systems for projects across the plant, ensuring compliance with specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure timely execution of Telecom systems and plant modifications.
Coordinate onshore and offshore activities.
Monitor contractors and participate in safety briefings.
Review and prepare installation documents.
Liaise with Operations on plant modifications and shutdowns.
Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Diploma/Bachelor’s in Engineering (Telecommunications preferred).
Minimum 8 years in Telecommunications (Oil & Gas experience a plus).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-management skills.
IT/PC literate, English proficiency (Arabic is a plus).
