Job Title: Social Media Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and campaign management. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing social media strategies that drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and measurable results. This role requires a passion for social media trends and a creative approach to content, with the ability to analyze data and optimize campaigns effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Strategy Development: Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to business objectives, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing goals and brand identity.
• Content Creation & Curation: Create engaging, high-quality content (text, images, videos, etc.) for multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Twitter, and others. Ensure that content is relevant, on-brand, and optimized for each platform.
• Community Management: Monitor and engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner. Build strong relationships with followers and influencers.
• Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and manage social media campaigns, promotions, and contests. Track their success and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal performance.
• Analytics & Reporting: Use analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, Google Analytics) to monitor social media performance. Generate monthly reports and provide actionable insights for optimization.
• Brand Awareness & Growth: Increase the brand’s visibility and reach on social media through organic and paid campaigns. Identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to increase followers, engagement, and traffic.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, designers, and content creators to ensure consistency across all campaigns and content.
• Social Listening: Monitor trends, competitor activities, and industry conversations to stay ahead of market shifts and leverage them for campaign ideas.
• Paid Social Media Campaigns: Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Linked In Ads, etc.), ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.
• Stay Updated on Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our social media presence remains fresh and competitive.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in social media marketing or digital marketing, with a focus on social media management.
• Strong knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Twitter, Tik Tok, etc.) and best practices.
• Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics).
• Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong creative thinking, with the ability to design and execute engaging campaigns.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the local market in Qatar and the wider Middle East region is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with influencer marketing and building relationships with key influencers.
• Knowledge of Arabic is a plus, especially for engaging with local audiences in Qatar.
• Experience in video production and editing for social media content.
• Familiarity with paid social advertising strategies and tools.
