Job Title: Painting/Coating Inspector (Oil & Gas)
Location: Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), Qatar
Duration: 6-10 Months (Extendable)
Visa: Locally available candidates with own visa only
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Painting/Coating Inspector to join our team in Qatar for a prestigious project in the Oil and Gas sector. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in inspection, quality assurance, and technical standards in the field of protective coatings and painting.

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Painting/Coating Inspector to join our team in Qatar for a prestigious project in the Oil and Gas sector. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in inspection, quality assurance, and technical standards in the field of protective coatings and painting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and quality checks for painting and coating activities on-site.
- Ensure compliance with international standards such as NACE, BS, SSPC, and TWI.
- Review and interpret technical specifications, codes, and procedures to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Provide guidance to the team to maintain coating quality during surface preparation, application, and curing phases.
- Generate detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records for project documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years as an Inspector OR 15 years as a Lead Inspector in the Oil and Gas sector.
- Certifications:
- CIP Level 2 or above (NACE-certified Coating Inspector)
- CSWIP Grade 2 (or equivalent)
- Technical Knowledge:
- In-depth familiarity with codes and standards such as NACE, BS, SSPC, and TWI.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Hands-on experience with inspection tools and techniques.
