Position Title: Civil QC Inspector
Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar
Duration: 2-3 Months
Key Responsibilities
· Inspection and Compliance
· Conduct inspections and ensure that all civil works meet project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
· Verify compliance with Oil & Gas (O&G) construction codes, regulatory standards, and company guidelines.
· Monitor construction activities for quality assurance, including excavation, concreting, formworks, rebar installation, and finishes.
· Documentation and Reporting:
· Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality documentation, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
· Maintain accurate records of materials testing, including soil compaction, concrete mix designs, and curing reports.
· Coordination and Communication:
· Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and site personnel to address quality-related issues.
· Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies when required.
· Recommend corrective and preventive measures for quality improvements.
· Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
Qualifications and Experience
· Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
· Experience: Minimum 7+ years in civil construction quality control.
· At least 2-3 years of proven experience in Oil & Gas construction projects.
Skills:
· Strong knowledge of construction codes, O&G standards, and QC procedures.
· Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC tools.
· Excellent reporting and communication skills.
