Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Mechanical Site Engineer to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and day-to-day operations of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in private properties. This is a challenging and dynamic role, offering opportunities to manage multiple projects, work closely with architects and construction professionals, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Manage multiple MEP projects from design to delivery, ensuring timely completion with minimal issues.
• Design & Installation Oversight: Work with architects, contractors, and other construction professionals to ensure MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest standards.
• System Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of MEP systems to verify that all systems comply with design specifications and relevant building codes.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all MEP systems adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Conduct inspections and audits of systems to identify areas of improvement or required repairs and replacements.
• Software & Documentation: Utilize project management software, Auto CAD, and word processing programs to create and update MEP plans and reports.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Supervise the maintenance of MEP systems and troubleshoot any mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues promptly.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to ensure seamless coordination between various engineering disciplines, ensuring the efficient completion of projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferably MEP).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, specifically overseeing MEP systems in private properties.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of MEP systems and facility maintenance. Proficiency in Auto CAD and project management software.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage and oversee multiple projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and external contractors.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail, quality control, and ensuring all systems are installed and maintained to the highest standard.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems in a timely and efficient manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Additional certifications in MEP or relevant fields would be an advantage.
• Location: Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar.
