We are seeking an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of working experience in the oil and gas sector and will be responsible for managing mechanical engineering tasks within our operations. The candidate should be proficient in mechanical design, analysis, and problem-solving, with a strong understanding of engineering principles applied in the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems for oil and gas operations.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize mechanical processes.
• Review and evaluate technical drawings, specifications, and proposals.
• Provide technical support to operations teams and resolve mechanical issues.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in the oil and gas sector.
• MMUP/ UPDA certification is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and applications in oil and gas.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
