ACE Money Transfer is looking to hire UI/UX Associate.
Role Summary:
The UI/UX Associate will support the UI/UX Designer in designing and delivering user-centric, visually engaging interfaces for ACE Money Transfer’s app and website. This role involves assisting with design tasks, conducting user research, testing prototypes, and ensuring a consistent design language across all platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the product team, contributing to the success of key projects while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Support:
- Assist the UI/UX Designer in creating wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to visualise design concepts.
- Prepare assets and design elements for development teams to implement in the app and website.
- Collaborate on designing layouts, icons, and graphic elements that align with the company’s branding.
- Work closely with the Product Manager, Product Lead, and UI/UX Designer to understand project goals and deliver designs that enhance the user experience.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for improving the app and website.
- Conduct user research to gather insights about user needs, pain points, and preferences.
- Assist in usability testing of prototypes and designs, collecting and analysing feedback to refine solutions.
- Help maintain and update the company’s design system, ensuring uniformity in design elements across all products.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for accessibility and responsiveness in designs.
- Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and methodologies.
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve skills and contribute innovative solutions to the product team.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, UI/UX Design, or related field.
- Experience: 2 years in UI/UX design; freelance work is acceptable.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Understanding of user- centred design principles.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
