JOB TITLE: Graduate Associate – Finance
FUNCTION: GBS Finance (Commercial Finance)
LOCATION: Lahore, Pakistan
WORK TIMING: This role is expected to support on timing from 1 am to 9 am PK time. A candidate should be willing to work on these hours.


ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
To provide timely proactive financial evaluation, information and advice that enables Commercial teams and management to develop and execute effective plans and take informed decisions. To help build strong financial and commercial awareness within the whole Commercial function.


WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Support Commercial Finance Executives in analysing Trade Financials and Key Performance Indicators, to facilitate effective decision making and improve efficiency and effectiveness of spend
• Active involvement in month-end closing activities for relevant P&L items (Revenue, Gross Margin, Marketing Investment etc), including accruals / journal postings
• To assist with the preparation of budget/plan/forecasts with support from the team, and to provide accurate and timely information to help Trade Team monitor on-going performance
• Track & monitor actual marketing investment spend vs budget, and flag where corrective action may be required
• Supporting and Performing month-end/quarterly closing activities through processing journal postings/accounting entries/intercompany recharges
• Master Data maintenance
• Pricing memo review and pricing release in ECC system
• Update pricing and trading terms in BPC system
• PO creation / Open Items Management
• Customer Rebate Management and Reconciliations
• Run P&L / profitability reports by customer
• Prepare cashflow projections based on inputs from AP & AR
• To ensure accuracy and robustness of the relevant financial accounts, in line with International Accounting Standards with the correct levels of authority
• Ad hoc support as required by Commercial Finance Managers / Executives and Trade teams

• Effective working relations and Business Partnering through Consistent and accurate Finance support to Finance and Commercial team.
• Ability to produce reliable reporting and ensure key financial controls.
• Ontime completion of relevant tracking templates
