Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Software Tester to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring our applications are robust, scalable, and bug-free, working with our development team to catch and eliminate errors. The role requires familiarity with various testing methodologies and tools and a keen understanding of software development processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, cases, and scripts (manual and automated) for our applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools, and work closely with developers for resolution.
• Conduct functional, performance, regression, and user interface testing for web and mobile applications.
• Review and analyze system requirements to provide constructive feedback.
• Design and maintain automated testing scripts for continuous integration.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to enhance testing processes.

Required Skills

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python or Java.
• Strong understanding of software development and testing life cycles.
• Familiarity with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Understanding of SQL and No SQL databases.
