About the Role
As a Pharmacist (Pharmacovigilance), you’ll play a critical role in safeguarding patient health by monitoring, analysing, and reporting adverse drug reactions. Your contributions will help optimize therapeutic outcomes, shape public health initiatives, and build a robust pharmacovigilance system in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report adverse drug reactions (ADRs) to relevant authorities.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to improve medication safety.
- Provide training to healthcare professionals and patients on ADR reporting.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to policy development and public health initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or equivalent.
- Valid pharmacist license to practice in Nigeria.
- At least 2 years of clinical or pharmacovigilance experience.
- Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance principles.
- Certification or advanced degree in pharmacovigilance.
- Experience with public health or drug safety research.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and reporting systems.
