Office Administrator/ Payroll

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant/Payroll Office Admin to join the office team at the Bakery here in Longford. This is a permanent, full-time position.
The Administrator will be responsible for Payroll & Admin duties.
The administrator will be heavily involved in assisting our financial controller to produce monthly accounts.
The Role:
· Payroll
Maintenance and upkeep of contracts of employment for all staff
· Accounts payable
· Processing of Purchases
· Bank rec
· Stock control
· Amending Po's to match invoices, ensuring invoices are against the correct jobs for approval.
· Carrying out general office duties i.e., filing, completing excel sheets
· Use and upkeep of our internal accountancy package and being able to run / print reports for different jobs / departments.
· Monthly accounts
· Receipt dockets / invoices for goods in and out
· Providing support and cover to team members as required
· Assist in administrative duties as and when required.
Required for the role
· Minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role.
· Experience in Payroll, Purchasing Department, Accounts Payable would be an advantage
· Strong grasp of accountancy practices in a small business would be a distinct advantage
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
· Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
· Strong organisational skills
· Strong attention to detail
· High level sense of urgency with ability to prioritize work load.
· Must be a highly motivated, professional, and enthusiastic individual.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Word, teams, Outlook plus experience working with accountancy packages
Salary and package:
· Pay: €28,080.00-€32,000.00 per year
