Gencat provide a range of professional driving services with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, driver behaviour management, driver training, and coaching. Our team develop targeted training and coaching programs enabling professional drivers and transport managers to work together and deliver efficient and effective road transport services across our client base in Europe, the USA and Asia. Using advanced vehicle data capture technology our analysts provide our clients with detailed fleet efficiency insights. To promote a culture of safe and professional driving Gencat opened an Academy in support of the role of professional drivers. We focused on training professionals for the delivery of white goods, providing exceptional customer service while navigating, handling, securing loads and managing customer and transport administration expectations. In addition to our own transport operation, we are a licensed employment agency and routinely place drivers with other companies.
Role Description
We are currently looking for a full-time senior administrator to join our team in Dublin. As a senior administrator, you will have a varied role in the business with responsibilities across multiple divisions. The person for this role will work closely with the company directors and senior management to support the continued growth of the business. Previous experience in transport is an advantage but not critical. This is an on-site role located in Dublin 15. Your duties will include:
- Scheduling collections, deliveries, and repairs of appliances nationwide.
- Ensuring online and paper-based documentation are recorded and filed.
- Managing the weekly operations roster and ensuring working times are organised appropriately.
- Arranging, training courses and similar events.
- Handling Client and Customer queries.
- 2+ years of experience in an administration or marketing role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred but experience or current professional educational courses will qualify.
- Strong attention to detail and a good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
- Experience with event management would also be beneficial.
- Experience with social media marketing would also be an advantage.

Pay: €33,000.00-€36,000.00 per year
